Sunset Beach Villas "Casa Tramonto Stupendo" is located on the calm West side at Wemyss Bight near to the northern end of the island, just 20 minutes from Stella Maria airport, and 10 minutes from the settlement of Salt Pond with shops, gas station and other facilities such as a dive operation. Local restaurants can be found within 10 minutes whilst the resorts of Stella Maris and Cape Santa Maria can be easily reached in 30 minutes. Crossed by the Tropic of Cancer, this beautiful island was discovered in 1492 by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage of discovery. Originally named "Ferdinand Island" in honour of his sponsor, the King of Spain. Enjoying beaches on both sides of the island along its 100 mile length, there are endless opportunities to experience either the calm and tranquil West and South sides, or the more lively coast on the East and North sides. The beautiful Cape Santa Maria beach on the calm West side, often quoted as one of the 10 best in the World is 39 minutes away & certainly worth a visit.

Although a quiet and peaceful island of 150km (100 miles) in length with approximately 2500 residents, there are a number of special places worth visiting, either other beaches or towns. A few of the many places to experience are: Dean's Blue Hole - Situated at Turtle Cove on the East side, the deepest blue hole in the World at over 220 metres (663 feet) and the location of World class free diving competitions. Swim safely or just enjoy the beautiful situation to relax or picnic. Clarence Town - the capital is a pretty and quiet town surrounding a large harbour with marina and blue hole. The impressive white churches, one Roman Catholic and one Anglican, dominate the hills around the town, both built by Father Jerome nearly 100 years ago, an architect and priest. There are so many beaches to choose from that our guests will be given a detailed map to find and enjoy the best. Activities include snorkelling, fishing, there are awesome bonefish sites, deep sea gamefish and bottom fishing areas. Diving, including wreck, reef and wall dives, while on land, exploration of some of the limestone caves or visiting the capital, Clarence Town, makes a change from water based fun.

Rental notes: The rates are: 995 USD per week for 1 or 2 people or 165 USD per night (min 6 nights) 1575 USD per week for up to 4 people or 265 USD per night (min 6 nights) 2750 USD per week for the whole building for up to 8 people or 450 USD per night (min 6 nights) An extra person is 150 USD per week or part thereof. Maximum number of people is 9. A Security Deposit of $100 per person (minimum $400) is required at the time of booking - this is refundable within 7 days of departure. Full payment for the accommodation is due to be paid one month before arrival.

Designed for maximising the enjoyment of being directly on the beautiful 2 mile beach, this pair of inter-connecting villas individually offer 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping from 2-4 people on each half. Each villa has full kitchen and large lounge/dining areas, which lead onto an expansive sundeck for making the most of outdoor living and enjoying amazing sunsets. In addition, each villa has a Rollaway bed. This provides for a total of up to 5 people in each villa half, and up to 10 people if both sides are booked. Both villas are fully equipped with beach towels and all bed and bath linens. If the villa is let to just two people, then one bedroom/ one bathroom will be available at the lower price.
