Le Pantane is a family run farm of 13 hectares located in the hills of Fauglia in an isolated and tranquill zone. It is immersed in the green countryside far from noises, traffic and city smog. The apartments are comfortable,homey and spacious and are surrounded by a large garden with secular olive trees, swimming pools, picnic areas with barbeques and zones for different recreational activities. The apartments can be occupied by a minimum of 2 persons to a maximum of 12 persons. The opportunities for recreation are numerous, one can swim in the pools,play volleyball,ping pong, bocce, go jogging or for a bike ride, take a walk in the woods or along the country roads or just do nothing at all except relax in the sun.

Le Pantane , occupying a central position is a perfect base for excursions to the principal art cities of Tuscany for example: Pisa,Lucca,Florence,San Gimignano and Volterra. The airport in Pisa is served by low cost airlines and Livorno has ferry's to Elba and other islands. In the surrounding towns, one can find tennis courts,horseback riding,golf courses, thermal baths, fishing lakes . Numerous beaches like Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa, Vada with its white sands and Castiglioncello are easily accessible . In the characteristic restaurants and wine cellars of the zone one has the possibility to taste the typical tuscany dishes and the excellent wines. Also interesting are the local street markets and the many sagra's organized by the various towns where one can flavor the real spirit of Tuscany.

Rental notes: Price is 30 Euro per person per day. Children under 2 yrs of age are free. If central heating is desired,( each unit has a meter) there is an additional cost equivalent to the cost of the heating fuel consumed. Firewood is furnished free of charge.

The apartments are spacious , comfortable and fully furnished . Some are the typical rustic style of Tuscany with wooden ceiling beams, others are more classic. All have been furnished with care and with the idea of a home away from home atmosphere. The kitchens are fully furnished with microwave ovens, toasters, dishes and pans.

Outside Area:13 hectares of nature with secular olive trees and wooded areas in a quiet hillside zone. There are 2 pools, 1 oval (5x10m) and one circular (6m) with tables and chairs, gazebo,umbrellas and lounge chairs, various picnic areas with gazebo, barbeque , table and chairs and different zones where one can play volley ball, ping pong , table tennis or bocce. Mountainbikes are available.
