Luxury 5 star interior designed villa with large indoor swimming pool for holiday rental in the centre of Olonzac, Minervois. Maison de la Botte has been beautifully decorated thoughout by its interior designer owner and is an extremely spacious house in the heart of Olonzac. The Minervois is in the region of the Languedoc in the South of France. This wine growing region spans the departments of Aude and Herault and is easily accessed and has much to offer from its rich history. As a living village, Olonzac thrives all year round; the market attracts many visitors from miles around and there are numerous festivals and events during both summer and winter months. It has its own bars, restaurants and shops so you get all you need locally.

Olonzac is perfectly located for visiting numerous attractions in the immediate vicinity of the house. Olonzac is an equally ideal location for sailing, with the Med being only 40mins away, and Skiing in the Pyrenees, where the slopes just under 2 hours away. The Minervois is in the region of the Languedoc in the South of France. This wine growing region spans the departments of Aude and Herault and is easily accessed and has much to offer from its rich history. Land of wild gorges, red wines, Cathar villages, perfumed garrigue, abbeys, castles, rivers for fishing or swimming, magical scenery and all close to the Mediterranean. The roman town of Narbonne is just thirty minutes away to the east and the magical Cité at Carcassonne is thirty mins to the west. Minerve has been selected as one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France and is situated at the confluence of the gorges created by the Rivers Cesse & Brian in a naturally strong defensive position. Near the village the river disappears underground in a large, naturally-carved tunnel which can be explored. The Lac de Jouarres. During the summer season, the lake has lifeguards and there is a restaurant/snack bar with sun-loungers for use in their garden. You can walk the perimeter of the lake in just over an hour. The swimming area has been prepared using pebbles and geotextiles to prevent weed growth. The sailing/fishing areas are away from the bathing area.

Rental notes: A security deposit of 1000 euros is required when you make your booking. The remaining balance of your rent will be payable 6 weeks before the start of your tenancy. Easter and Christmas - 2,950 euros/week. There are additional costs for heating, both the house and/or indoor pool - 300- 400 euros per week.

Maison de la Botte has been beautifully decorated thoughout by its interior designer owner and is an extremely spacious house in the heart of Olonzac. With a huge living area, kitchen and separate drawing room, the house is designed to easily accommodate 6 - 8 adults in comfort with four large bedrooms and three luxury bathrooms. Separate drawing room with 2 very large comfortable sofas, 2 Louis square back carver chairs and a working fireplace, making the property perfect for winter breaks. The kitchen is ''made to cook'' with a large Lacanche cooker, and extensive, top of the range cooking equipment.

Outside Area:In the centre of the property there is a large, mediterranean, secluded garden with a 12 meter indoor swimming pool (which is available all year round - heating available on request) and, as the entire property is bordered by its own outbuildings, completly private and secure. In addition one of the outbuildings has been converted to a Sports Hall/Games Room which includes Childrens Badminton, Table Tennis, Plasma TV and Xbox 360.
