Welcome To Maison Du Montitier, self catering holiday Gite in Normandy, France, run by James and Jacqueline Cunningham who hail from Cumbria n/west of England. we offer self catering breaks,or bed and breakfast accomadation. we have 2 light, airy spacious bedrooms both en-suite, with all linen and towels provided.down stairs is open plan with comfy leather sofas,and a fully equipt kitchen.we have tried to think of everything you should need.tv wi-fi dvd books,etc. open christmas and new year.

We are situated 4 minutes from the historic Le Mont St Michel and on the borders of the beautiful Bretagne. There are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby in the towns of Avranche and Pontorson. Cancale is just a 40 minute drive away, with its lovely beaches which are famous for their Mussels and oysters. The beaches of the Normandy landings are within easy reach. Also, the German and American War Cemeteries are situated, along with many Museums, not to far from the Gite. The local cider and calvados is a must try during your trip or stay to France. There are several zoos/aligator bay and many beaches to keep the children occupied.

Rental notes: Remaining payment payable 6 weeks before arrival. Payment must be in sterling or euros.payments accepted by pay-pal,french or sterling cheque,cash, bed and breakfast may be booked for 2 or more nights,please ask if only 1 night is required.the rate for bed and breakfast is 55euros per night for 2 people,first child under 10 is free,then 10 euros extra per person shareing.please ask for christmas and new year rates.

The Gite is a newly renovated barn conversion, with 2 family sized bedrooms, both with en suite facilities. here is a large open plan living dining area with everything you should need. The dining area seats 8 people, the living area has been decorated with great care with comfy leather soafas. A click clack bed is also available if there were 8 people. A cot is also available, as is wi-fi.

Outside Area:The Gite also boasts a nice patio area for alfresco dining and a large secure garden for children to play in. We try to be as self surfishant as possible, so as well as a large lawned area with rockerys, flowers and many planters, we have a large vegetable plot and many fruit trees all organicaly grown. we also have free range hens and ducks in there own area. there is also ample parking for 3 cars,with availability for 2 to be undercover.
