Our self-contained holiday apartment is part of our home on a beautiful one acre garden, high above the Fraser River. On a clear day you can see the eternal snow of Mount Baker in the distance. Watch the tugboats go by and enjoy the many birds and flowers in our yard. We are a pesticide - free property! This area is a golfer's paradise. Miles of dikes, five lakes and the Golden Ears Mountains offer many nature outdoors opportunities like hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, biking or bird-watching. Vancouver is only 50 minutes away by car or Westcoast Express during commuter hours. 

 The apartment has a large comfortable bed-sitting room with a queen size bed . French doors separate the living area from the fully equipped kitchen with lovely eating area. A self-catered breakfast package can be arranged.

 You will have a separate entrance and large patio for your private use. We can also add an extra bedroom, the Seide room, plus en-suite bathroom and sleeping alcove and play area to your suite, to accommodate up to five guests. The Seide room can also be rented separately, since it has a private entrance and bathroom as well. It has a small fridge, TV, DVD, wifi, and an electric kettle for tea and coffeee and snacks. WiFi- ADSL internet connection is available in the apartment. We also offer free long distance calls in North America.

Maple Ridge is nestled between 3 rivers and the Golden Ears Mountain. Yet it is only 45 km from the world city of Vancouver. Our property is located right in town, but secluded from the road by a long panhandle driveway which opens up to a wonderful garden property with fabulous view of the Fraser River. The Trans Canada Trail goes along a large system of dikes with a mountain backdrop of the Golden Ears and wetlands of the Pacific Flyway. Bird watching ,canoeing, hiking, biking and mountaineering are all at your doorstep. Local amenities include a theatre, library, public leisure centre with pools, shopping and many festivities throughout the year.

Rental notes: Deposit of 50% is due within 7 days to confirm the booking. The deposit will be refunded minus any fees for those days that the apartment can be rented again.

The main apartment consists of a large bed-sittingroom with a comfortable queensize bed, a leather couch and coffee table. French door separate the large kitchen from the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, electric kettle and dishes galore. There is also a cozy eating area with a lovely buffet and a computer desk. We offer wireless internet connection and free long distance calling to many countries. A separate bedroom, the Seide room, can be added to the main apartment. This bedroom has a private entrance, ensuite bath, queensize bed, small fridge, electric kettle and some dishes. It can also be rented separately. Adjacent to this bedroom is an alcove bed which may be used by the main apartment.

Outside Area:One acre of garden and flowers. We are a pesticide free property , certified habitat by the Canadian Wildlife Federation! Towering cedars, flowering bushes and flowers in every season.
