There is an excellent variety of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs as well as attractions like harbour with its award winning Scottish Seabird Centre, all within a short walk from Saheda. North Berwick along with its neighbouring East Lothian villages is home to some of the greatest golf links in the world and the Glen Golf Club is only 5 minutes from Saheda on foot. NORTH BERWICK situated on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, 23 miles east of Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. Easily accessible by car or rail with frequent trains to Edinburgh (33 minutes). Edinburgh is the nearest airport, approximately a 45 minute drive away.

For wildlife enthusiasts, explore Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve - the Firth of Forth has a range of amazing wildlife including seabirds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, and kittiwakes together with seals and dolphins – wildlife cruises sail from the local harbour. The Bass Rock has been described by Sir David Attenborough as 'one of the 12 wildlife wonders of the world.' For the active, North Berwick has plenty scenic walks, you can climb North Berwick Law with magnificent views over to Fife and beyond, or enjoy the coastal John Muir Walkway, plus great cycle routes, not to mention three golf courses which offer enjoyable rounds for golfers of all abilities. This has been our family holiday home for over 50 years, upgraded many times and we hope you will find it as warm, friendly and enjoyable as we do. The interior decor is a mixture between traditional and modern. Fresh light walls and all main living areas and bedrooms are carpeted. Saheda can sleep up to 7 persons as we have an additional single bed available in the sitting room, should you have a seventh member in your party. We have had extra golfers, children use it. The spacious GROUND FLOOR comprises of reception hall, a large lounge with picture window, comfy sofa, chairs, TV, DVD player. Well-equipped modern kitchen - Front kitchen with electric hob/oven, kettle, sink, fridge, and back kitchen with microwave, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, pulley, toaster. A bright relaxing sunroom opening out to back garden. Separate open plan dining area. There is a downstairs cloakroom (WC) and large hall cupboard for coats, golf clubs. The UPPER LEVEL has a master twin bedroom with en-suite with electric shower over bath. Door opens out to balcony and views over the beach. On same floor are a second twin bedroom and a smaller double bedroom with windows looking out over the back green towards North Berwick Law. Both bedrooms are close to a second bathroom with Victorian bath, WC and basin. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, bath and hand towels WIFI are all included in rental price. Pets on request. Landline telephone on request. The property is cleaned thoroughly by us on changeover day and we try to ensure you have ample amenities for the start of your stay.

Outside Area:Saheda is recognisable from outside by the front balcony above picture window. There is a front garden and private driveway which can accommodate up to 2 cars. The front door entrance is up the side of the house, garden tap at door for sandy feet! If you carry on, you get to the secluded back garden, also accessible from sunroom or back gate which leads out to back green, with tennis courts and 18 hole putting - fun for practising those green shots or holding a friendly competition. Part of the garden is lawn and part patio with wooden chairs, table and sun umbrella. Only windy days, this garden is very sheltered. There is a garden hut which houses chair cushions, buckets and spades, children’s fishing nets for on the beach and equipment of outdoor games. Plus portable BBQ. The gates make the garden safe for young children.
