It’s a great vacation deal for a family who wants to relax and spend a holiday in contact with nature and yet be very close to Lake Maggiore, Italy. The holiday home is very quiet positioned on the top of a hill with views over the valley. The house is surrounded by an enclosed private land of about 30000m². In front of the house is a sunny terrace with bbq and outdoor furniture and a large green lawn with small inflatable children's pool. At the back of the villa you can wander around in the shady areas under the trees enjoying tranquility and a relaxing vacation in the warm summer days.

This vacation cottage is situated 5 km from the charming lakefront town Arona with many shops, bars, restaurants and a beautiful promenade along Lake Maggiore. From there you can catch the ferry boat and explore Lago Maggiore and its fascinating islands. The train station in Arona connects you easily with Milan. It’s only 18 km from Stresa, the most popular tourist town of Lake Maggiore. Easy one day trips are possible the famous Piedmont vineyards, the romantic Lake Orta and trekking in the nearby mountain valleys. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca.

Built in traditional style but with modern standards, completely restored, rustic flooring and exposed wooden beams in the ceilings, the stone house stands on two levels and accommodates up to 8 persons. The ground floor is composed of a large pleasant living room with comfortable couches, TV and open fireplace, kitchen, dining room with another fire place and bathroom with shower. On the first floor you’ll find a central TV lounge with access to the balcony, two bedrooms with double bed, one bedroom with two bunk beds and children games, bathroom with tub.
