The estate is positioned on a hill, in a position of exceptional beauty within the natural and artistic park of Val d'Orcia, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. he farmhouse, 500m above sea level, dominates the hills that slope towards the plane: from here you can admire a vast natural setting, from Monte Cetona to the cliffs of San Casciano, from the rock of Celle sul Rigo to the slopes of Monte Amiata. In addition to one of the most fascinating views in Tuscany there is a mild and pleasant climate, which benefits from its sheltered position and the ancient oak trees that surround the estate of Podere Pietreta.

In 2005, Val d'Orcia was listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The Valle offers natural and artistic riches of immense value, as well as the five communes which make it up and which form the Artistic, Natural and Cultural Park of Val d'Orcia, with the aim of ensuring the active conservation of the environment, as well as artistic and natural heritage.

The kitchens are in hand-worked stone, the bedrooms are embellished by many small pictures, produced by old lace and the embroiderings that belonged to the grandmother of the owners. The apartments have been furnished in such a way as to preserve the rustic atmosphere of the old farmhouse, adding however, certain refinements.

In front of the entrance of each apartment, there is an exclusive area with a table, seats, large umbrella and private barbecue, where guests can eat their meals, whilst taking in the lovely view.
