Designed by architect Brian MacKay-Lyons this cottage won the Lieutenant Governor's Award of Merit in 1992 for its unique Maritime inspired design. Bay Bluff has an open concept design, with floor to ceiling sliding patio doors along the two ocean facing walls.

Perched a top a 40-foot bluff; Bay Bluff Cottage offers a commanding view of the bay below and the ocean beyond. Designed by architect Brian MacKay-Lyons and recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Merit in 1992; this unique cottage was inspired by Nova Scotia’s Maritime tradition. An arched roof that is reminiscent of the hull of a boat covers the open concept design. The view is appreciated through walls of moveable floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The living room features a freestanding fireplace and opens to a spacious covered deck. Natural materials soften the modernity of the style.

The doors open up to allow a refreshing breeze and the scent of the sea to permeate the cottage. There is a large wood fireplace in the living room perfect for those romantic evenings. Located on the ground floor, the master bedroom has a queen size bed and floor to ceiling windows. What better way to wake up than to the spectacular view of a cobalt blue bay dotted with small shimmering islands!

Outside Area:Two sliding patio doors open to a large covered deck, blurring the lines between inside and outside living. Patio furniture and propane BBQ complete the picture and make for comfortable outdoor living. There is also a 2-person kayak for use. (You must sign a liability waiver before using)
