The crescent shaped beach stretches just under a mile and is lined with palm and sea grape trees offering both sun and shade. The cove, protected by a reef, ensures there are no problems with jelly fish, red tide or sharks. Nor is there any fear of an undertow or strong tides. Just great swimming. We have been in Cofresi for 25+ years and have developed extensive hospitality experience a pleasant vacation. Our neighborhood is home to Ocean World Adventure Park where you can swim the dolphins, and Ocean World Casino & Marina. Costamber, our neighboring community has a 9-hole golf course. Our vacation villa is conveniently located 15 miles west of the Puerto Plata Airport and 3 miles west of the colorful, historic city of Puerto Plata where you will find a large farmer's market, supermarkets, and tourist sights. A Robert Trent Jones golf course and additional casinos & shopping are just 6 miles away at the Playa Dorada resort. Family Adventures Abound!

At Villa Vista Del Mar you will find a blend of simple elegance and easygoing family style comfort. Attention to maintenance and regular upkeep by a meticulous mother/ daughter team ensures quality standards. You will quickly feel at home. The long term staff works away in the fuully equipped kitchen... ready to pamper you at a memnts notice. The large living room seats ten as does the formal dining room. And a first floor card room directly off the living room offers a cozy spot for dining ... except when Friday night poker takes over. The villa sleeps 15+ with flexibility and comfort. All guest bedrooms are located on the second floor and are individually air- conditioned. Three ocean side bedrooms have balcony or terrace access; 2 are suites with their own sitting area and private bathroom. A 4th bedroom with mountain views has two twin beds. And the very popular 5th bedroom is a large "L" shaped dormitory that sleeps 6 comfortably with two twin beds and two bunk beds. There are also 2 full size cribs and a folding cot. All doors and windows are screened and shuttered to keep insects out, while ceiling fans throughout the villa circulate the cool refreshing ocean breezes.

Outside Area:The spacious outdoor dining porch overlooks the pool and sun terrace. To provide added peace of mind for parents, there are numerous child safety features: a special gate can be put up to separate and secure the outdoor dining area from the pool and sun terrace area. The entire ground level terrace is gated; all balcony railings are spaced closely together and are high enough to offer security. The spacious swimming pool is surrounded by a walled terrace for complete privacy, perfect for skinny dipping in the moonlight. The ambiance is peaceful and romantic as numerous past guests can attest. Many have celebrated weddings, honeymoons, reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, baptisms and other special events here.
