Welcome to the shady balconies and sunny terraces of Pano Stalos Villas. Beautifully kept and each with its own private swimming pool, our comfortably furnished villas sit on a tranquil hillside above the traditional Cretan hamlet of Pano Stalos, commanding stunning view's of the sea, White Mountains, Chania and beyond. Villa Sophia is the largest of our three Villas and can comfortably accommodate between 1 and 8 guests. The Villa has 3 main bedrooms but also includes a 2 bed studio apartment with patio doors onto the pool area, the studio is a utility that allows for more flexible living arrangements. If guests should grow tired of simply marvelling at the outstanding views that Villa Sophia has to offer, they can choose to sun themselves on the patio or cool themselves in the very large freeform pool. The shady balconies provide an outdoor eating area and pleasant retreat from the mid-day sun. With panoramic views from nearly every window, the Villa Sophia definitely has the WOW factor and provides superbly comfortable accommodation for any group be it large or small. Perfect for a relaxing holiday and ideally placed for you to explore the beautiful beaches and historic surroundings of western Crete, our villas are fully air-conditioned and are available to rent through-out the year.

Pano Stalos is an authentic Cretan Village which boasts three excellent tavernas, all three serve delicious local cuisine. There is a small village shop with a very friendly shop keeper who speaks good English but loves it when you attempt a little Greek. This peaceful village has views of the White Mountains and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. At the bottom of the hill, some 7/8 minutes away by car, close to the sea shore is Kato Stalos. In contrast to the more peaceful Pano Stalos, Kato Stalos has plenty of bars, tavernas, and restaurants. There are excellent facilities here, banks, hotels supermarkets and businesses offering excursions to the Samaria gorge, the Palace of Knossos and other local tourist spots. The long sandy beaches are excellent and have been awarded the exclusive Blue flag standard.There are water sports and plenty of children’s activities on offer. Crete’s second city of Chania is also only a 30 minute drive away. A must for all visitors to the area, Chania has a stunning Venetian harbour where you can catch a sight seeing tour by horse and carriage or a 30 minute trip out to sea on a glass bottom boat. There are museums and a huge indoor market. Chania is an excellent place to shop for clothes, jewellery, leather goods and local art and ceramics. There are lots of bars, restaurants and clubs to keep you refreshed and on your toes.

The apartment briefly consists of an open plan living/sleeping /kitchen/dining area. Shower room and toilet. The studio is fully air-conditioned.

Outside Area:Sophia has a beautiful pool with a large patio area with ample, loungers, parasols, and a covered swing seat. There is also a barbecue and two large tables, one on the covered balcony the other by the pool to allow for al-fresco dining.
